Arman Garg

Founder of Bridge

1. What’s your background, and what are you currently working on?

My name is Aman Garg, I’m based out of Atlanta, Georgia, and am the founder of Bridge. Bridge is a social platform that is designed to help users find other like-minded people in their area no matter their interests, values, ethnicity or life stage. In fact, we believe that what you look like is the least interesting thing about you. As the founder, my job is to provide the framework and vision for this platform and wear the multiple hats required to keep the train moving.

2. What’s your backstory and how did you come up with the idea?

The idea of Bridge was born out of my own personal struggles in developing meaningful connections in my local area. Having spent the majority of my youth as well as adult life in a different state, it was hard to find people to connect with easily as a newcomer to Atlanta, Georgia. While I don’t classify myself as a classic introvert, I realized that even for people who want to go out and find people to hang out with, the HOW is not always readily top of mind. However, it was only after this global pandemic with everyone self-isolating did I realize that loneliness itself is a larger and more important societal issue and one that needs to be tackled head-on.

3. What were the biggest challenges you faced and obstacles you overcame?

I have always had an entrepreneurial mind from a young age and loved dreaming up solutions to problems that exist in the world. My dream has always been to have a business that I could call my own but the hurdle for me had always been two-fold: 1. how to productize that dream into a reality and 2. the kick or motivational jump-start I needed to finally begin the founder journey. The great thing is that once you discover #2, you’ll leave no stone unturned to make sure #1 is achieved.

4. What did you find as a result of hiring us?

Trust. I trust this team to bring our vision to life. The Tappollo team acts as our strategic partners that work with us to not only think about the product from a coding perspective but really think about what are we trying to achieve and build a product that optimizes towards that end goal. I feel the number one thing you have to think about when starting any business is, can I rely on the people around me to make the right decisions and with Tappollo I feel that whole-heartedly.

5. What specific aspects did you like most about this service?

The partnership that Boon & the Tappollo team provides is rare. We scouted countless development firms before landing on Tappollo because they have a rare mix of ingredients that not many can offer: 1. Talent 2. Business acumen 3. Adaptability/Availability. Outside of their technical prowess, their main goal is to help YOU succeed. They like to think about your product in a way that will ultimately maximize the value it brings to your customers. Your success is truly, their success.
